Daens is a fresh young band from the canton of Uri led by singer and guitarist Daniel Beltrametti. Daens began life as a student band that was soon together enough to do the newcomer contest circuit and find favor with a steadily growing audience. Daens has now grown to four musicians and plays at well-known festivals in German-speaking Switzerland. They describe their style as cross-over pop: indie, folk, funk and electronica flow into their remarkable songwriting.
